Read
the following:- |

1. |
As per the orders issued in the reference 1st
cited, Oilpalm crop was included under Andhra
Prades Micro Irrigation Project for installation
of drip irrigation systems. |
2. |
In the reference 2nd read above, orders were
issued excluding Oilpalm crop from Andhra Pradesh
Micro Irrigation Project. |

During
the recent review meeting of the Project Implementation
Committee of Oilpalm, it was pointed out the
out of 38,000 hectares under Oilpalm, only 8,000
hectares is covered under drip irrigation and
the extent of subsidy under Oilpalm Development
Programme is available only for 4,000 hectares
per annum. Hence, the Committee has proposed
to cover Oilpalm crop under Andhra Pradesh Micro
Irrigation Project. |

Government have also reviewed the implementation
of Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project from
time to time and decided to cover Oilpalm crop
as ordered in the Government Order 1st read
above. |

Accordingly, in partial modification of the
orders issued in the Government Order 2nd read
above, Government hereby order that Oilapalm
crop shall be covered under Andhra Pradesh Micro
Irrigation Project as ordered in the reference
1st read above. The Commissioner of Horticulture
shall ensure that the areas under Andhra Pradesh
Micro Irrigation Project and Oilpalm Development
Programme are clearly distinguished to avoid
future complications in grounding the schemes. |
