ORDER :
  1. While Issuing guidelines On AP.M.I.P. in the reference first read above, government approved the prices of the components of the M.I. systems under A.P.M.I.P.
  2. In the reference 4th read above, proposals have been received from Commissioner of Horticulture, Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad for approval of revised prices of certain components of Micro irrigation systems under APMIP. As per clause 4.4 pf the Agreement entered into with Micro Irrigation companies, the prices fixed for Micro irrigation components were valid for one year and would be reviewed after one year and changes, if any, would be made in a scientific manner.
  3. Due to unusual rise in the price of polymers. Which is the main raw material for manufacturing Micro irrigation pipes, the Microirrigation companies have been representing to the Government for revision of prices of the components of the Micro Irrigation systems. The Technical Committee of Andhra Pradesh Micro irrigation Project was directed to evaluate the justification given by Micro irrigation companies for revision of prices. Accordingly the committee, after detailed verification of market trends, has recommended for revision of prices of certain components of Micro Irrigation systems. The matter was discussed in the standing committee meeting and the standing committee had also agreed with the proposal of Commissioner of Horticulture to increase the prices.
  4. Government. After careful examination of the proposal of the Commissioner of Horticulture, hereby approve the revised prices of components of Micro irrigation system under APMIP, as shown at col. (4) of the Annexure to this order.
  5. The revised prices approved above will be applicable from the date of issue this order.
