ORDER
- In the G.O. 1st read above, orders were
issued sanctioning the scheme to provide 50% subsidy for
installation of drip and sprinkler irrigation systems for
different crops under APMIP with a ceiling of Rs.50,000/- for an
individual farmer/beneficiary family.
- In the G.O. 2nd read above, orders were
issued to increase the subsidy from 50% to 66% for implementation
of APMIP in Ananthapur district and to
fund the 16% difference of the subsidy by external borrowings.
- In the G.O. 3rd read above, orders were
issued modifying the scheme to provide 90% subsidy for Bio-diesel
plantation in the notified Rain Shadow Areas and continue the
existing pattern of subsidy in respect of all other crops as
ordered in the G.Os 1st and 2nd read
above.
- In the G.O.4th read above, orders were
issued to cover Oil Palm crop under APMIP which was excluded
earlier under APMIP.
- In the reference 5th read above, the
commissioner of Horticulture,
Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has submitted proposals for enhancing
the subsidy from 50% to 60% of the cost of drip irrigation systems
subject to the ceiling of Rs. 50,000/-
per beneficiary family under APMIP in the 21 districts where it is
being implemented presently and from 66% to 70% in Ananthapur district.
- Government after careful examination of
the above proposal, hereby order to enhance the subsidy from 50%
to 60% of the cost of drip irrigation systems supplied under APMIP
in the 21 (twenty one) districts where it is being implemented
presently and from 66% to 70% in Ananthapur
district subject to the ceiling of Rs.
50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) per beneficiary
family/farmer.
- The enhancement of subsidy ordered above
shall be only on respect of drip irrigation systems and the
existing subsidy of 50% and 60% shall remain as it is in respect
of sprinkler irrigation systems supplied under APMIP.
- The additional funds required on account
of the above enhancement of subsidy shall be met from the overall
loan amount sanctioned by NABARD.
- All other conditions and guidelines laid down from time to will continue to be
applicable under the scheme.
