The
Department of Horticulture has established Horticulture
Training Institute in the year 2000 with the following
objectives:
-
To impart in-service training to technical staff
of the department in modern technologies in different
sectors of horticulture.

To impart training to progressive horticulture farmers
of the state.
-
Provide professional training on value added ornamental
horticulture.
